How do I register as a patient?

To create an online account with GreenTec, click “Register” followed by “Create Account”. Enter your name, email and password details.

To complete the online registration: 

  1. Log into your GreenTec account
  2. Click on “My Account” and select “Account Details” 
  3. Complete the required fields, including the authorization and acknowledgement
  4. Click “Save Changes” 

Once your online registration and Medical Document are received and verified by our client care team, your GreenTec account will be activated for online ordering. You will receive an email confirming your online account activation.

How do I obtain a Medical Document?

You can obtain a medical cannabis authorization (Medical Document) from your healthcare practitioner or a medical cannabis clinic. If you need a recommendation for a medical cannabis clinic, please email

How do I submit my Medical Document to GreenTec?

We accept Medical Documents by fax when they are sent from the office of your healthcare practitioner or medical cannabis clinic. Medical Documents can be sent to the following secure fax number: 1-877-886-2754. 

I am already registered with another Licensed Producer. How do I transfer to GreenTec?

If you currently have a medical cannabis authorization and are registered with another Licensed Producer, please request a Medical Document Transfer to GreenTec. Your Licensed Producer can send your Medical Document by secure fax to the following number: 1-877-886-2754. 

How much dried cannabis can I order?

Registered medical clients can purchase up to 150 g of dried cannabis per order.

What type of products does GreenTec offer?

GreenTec products are cultivated and packaged in-house, in our purpose-built indoor facilities. GreenTec’s portfolio includes premium craft quality dried flower and pre rolls. We also carry a variety of cannabis products from other producers, including extracts and topicals.

Do you list your terpene percentages?

Yes, GreenTec is proud to list dominant terpenes directly on the product labels.

Do you offer a discount for signing up?

Yes, we offer a one time use 25% discount on GreenTec products for all new medical clients. This promotion excludes products from other producers and cannot be combined with additional discounts.  

Do you offer Compassionate Pricing?

Compassionate pricing enrollment is closed.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept Mastercard, Visa and AMEX credit cards and Mastercard/Visa debit cards. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD). 

Do you charge Sales Tax?

Medical cannabis is subject to GST/HST/PST and an Excise Tax, depending on your province of residence. Excise Tax is included in the price of the product.

What is the Provincial Adjustment?

As per Revenue Canada, cannabis products sold to customers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Nunavut are subject to a Provincial Adjustment tax. The Provincial Adjustment will appear as an additional tax during checkout. 

How is my order shipped?

Orders are shipped daily, Monday to Friday. Orders received up until 10 am (Mountain Time) will be shipped the same day.

Shipping options include Canada Post Expedited Parcel, Canada Post Xpresspost and Purolator Express. The shipping option can be selected during checkout.

You will receive an email notification with a tracking number when the order is shipped.  A signature is required to receive the order. If you are not home to receive the shipment, your order will be transferred to your nearest Canada Post or Purolator location for pick-up.

Standard Shipping Rates:

  • Canada Post Expedited Parcel: $20 
  • Canada Post Xpresspost: $25  
  • Purolator Express: $35  

Free Shipping Rates:

  • Free Shipping (Canada Post Expedited Parcel): Orders over $150 
  • Free Shipping (Canada Post Xpresspost): Orders over $200 
  • Free Shipping (Purolator Express): Orders over $400 

What is the expected delivery time?

Delivery timeline estimates:

  • Canada Post Expedited Parcel: 2-8 business days 
  • Canada Post Xpresspost: 1-3 business days
  • Purolator Express: 1-2 business days

Orders ship from Alberta within 1 business day. Delivery timelines may change depending on location and courier delays.
